Beach Accomodation in Croatia – Reservations & Payment

MIDAV Holiday Vacation in Croatia, operate on a self catering basis and the owners do not provide or arrange other services such as meals, transport, tours etc. on a regular basis. We will however, on request, endeavor to meet special requests from our guests or provide necessary assistance and details of suppliers that should be able to provide the required special services.
The two MIDAV beach accomodation apartments are designed to accommodate Couples. The guests must provide names of those sharing an apartment when the reservation is made.
We will confirm the reservations when the booking form and proof of payment is provided at which time we will send a confirmation with relevant reservation details to the guest.
As method of payment we prefer bank deposits.

Holiday accomodation in Croatia – Payment Terms/Cancellations

  • A 30 % upfront payment is required to secure the reservation.
  • If cancelled or modified more than 90 days before date of arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If cancelled less than 60 days before date of arrival, 15 % of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
  • If cancelled less than 30 days before date of arrival, 25 % of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
  • If cancelled one week before arrival or in case of no show, the entire deposit of 30 % will be maintained and no refund will take place.
  • A handling fee of 25 Euro will be charged on all cancellations of confirmed bookings. Refunds on cancellations will only be made after payment has been finally cleared by the bank. This process can in some cases take more than 30 days.

Breakage Deposits

Refundable breakage deposit is 200 Euro per apartment to be deposited on the spot. Refunds are processed within max five days of departure.

Arrival & Departure

Check in time is between 14:00 and 20:00 unless prior arrangements have been made.
Check out time is by 11:30 unless prior arrangements have been made.
Late check outs may be charged for.

Parking & Access

Guests will receive one set of keys per apartment: a key for the apartment and a key for the parking gate. Please take good care of the keys, as the cost of replacement is 40 Euro (20 Euro per key).
The parking lot must be locked after midnight. Returning home after midnight, it is the guests responsibility to lock the parking gate.
Personal visits are welcome as long as the owners are advised and the general house rules are respected.

Service Hours

The owners can be contacted any time from 08:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekends and public holidays. If the owners are not available, please call us at +385 95 5066 118.

Security & Storage

Although the owners take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of guests and their possessions guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security. Guests are kindly advised to keep windows secured and doors locked when being away.

Entertainment & Outdoor Facilities

Each apartment has a private garden area. Guests are kindly advised to show consideration when it comes to noise levels. No loud music is permitted. It is expected that our guests respect quietness and for that reason do not make unnecessary noise nor speak loudly, perform loud telephone conversations etc. outdoors where this might e of disturbance to others.

Air condition – Electrics – Plumbing

Guests are kindly advised to keep all windows and doors closed when using the air condition.
Please be considerate when it comes to the use of electrics and plumbing. Kindly switch off lights when not in the room and ensure that outside apartment lights are switched off when no longer needed.
There are two outdoor showers. Please use the one surrounded by greens only for rinsing salt water after a swim. The other shower situated at the fence is intended for using when washing hair and body with hait & body shampoo or other cosmetics.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted outdoors on the balcony and in the garden. Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere inside the premises.

Loss or Damage to Establishment Property

Guests are liable for any loss or damages (excluding wear and tear) to the property. Guests are not allowed to remove any property or take it away and use it outside the premises. Same refers to towels, kitchen utensils, pillows etc. that may only be used as intended and withing the property. In case of special or extra needs, please ask us.

General Incapacity

The owners cannot be held liable if any general incapacity such as extreme weather conditions, power breakdown, failure of water distribution or sewage to, from or on the property, industrial action, civil uprising or criminal activity, fire, frost, flooding, subsidence or any other force major event prevents us from fulfilling our obligation to guests. We will at all times take all reasonable steps to minimize disruption and discomfort to guests under these conditions.
